PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Chancellor Samuel M. Mencoff ‘78 Vice President for Athletics and Recreation M. Grace Calhoun ‘92, Ph.D. announced today that Mike Daly would step down as the Rothman Head Coaching Chair for Men’s Lacrosse.

Daly led the Bears for eight years and six full seasons, coaching six first-team All-Ivy selections, 13 second-team All-Ivy, nine USILA All-Americans, 12 USILA Scholar All-Americans, and two CSC (formerly CoSIDA) All-Americans. Joining the Bears in 2016, Daly led Brown to a 46-51 record, one NCAA Tournament appearance, and one Ivy Championship, both in 2022. Brown hosted the first round of the NCAA Tournament at the Center for Lacrosse and Soccer. The Bears competed in four Ivy Tournament postseasons under Daly - 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022.

A national search for the men’s lacrosse head coach position will begin immediately.
